Emma Weitzel is the Scholar Athlete of the Month

Emma Weitzel of Bay City Western High School is the Scholar-Athlete of the Month, presented by Fisher Companies.

Emma is a three-sport athlete in soccer, basketball, and golf. She earned First-Team All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-SVL in Golf.

In the classroom, Emma is a member of the National Honor Society with a current GPA above 4.0. Higher than the 3.99 noted in the interview. Furthermore, she volunteers as a part of a church youth group and plans to be a doctor.

John Vicari talked with Emma to discuss her academic and athletic achievements and present a certificate of recognition.
