Sports Radio 100.9 The Mitt is the Great Lakes Bay Region's home for local high school football, basketball and hockey presented by Forward Corporation.
We’re proud to cover the Saginaw Valley League, Tri-Valley Conference, and Jack Pine Conference.
Fall: Catch our Game of the Week football coverage every Friday night from September through November.
Winter: From December through March, we bring you all the action on the hardwood with boys and girls basketball, and on the ice with hockey coverage, continuing through the conclusion of the MHSAA playoffs.

John Vicari
Play-by-play broadcaster John Vicari serves as Sports Radio 100.9 The Mitt's lead broadcaster for all high school sports coverage. John also serves as the Broadcast and Content Coordinator for The Mitt broadcasting Great Lakes Loons baseball. John has a passion for high school athletics including the rivalries that help make our region special and particularly enjoys showcasing the pageantry of homecoming games and senior nights. John becomes the latest in a great history of high school voices on 100.9-FM over the years, including Brad Golder, Jared Sandler, Chris Vosters, and Brad Tunney.
