Lauren Boon is the Scholar Athlete of the Month

Lauren Boon of Bay City Central High School is the Scholar Athlete of the Month.

Lauren is a three-sport athlete at Bay City Central, the captain of the swim team and a member of the track & field and tennis team. Lauren was ranked as a Top 25 senior girl swimmer in Michigan.

In the classroom, Lauren maintains a 4.22 GPA is a member of the National Honor Society, the class salutatorian and won first place in Bay County's Law Day Essay Contest in 2025. She will attend Davenport University and be a member of their swimming and diving team.

John Vicari talked with Lauren to discuss her academic and athletic achievements and present a certificate of recognition.
