Gladwin, MI - For the third consecutive season, the Jack Pine Conference belongs to the Gladwin Flying G's. Gladwin defeated Beaverton 50-0 on a rainy Friday night at Brokoff Field, the High School Football Game of the Week presented by the Forward Corporation.
The Flying G's have not lost a Jack Pine Conference game since 2020 and now own a 60-9-4 overall record over the Beavers.
Gladwin scored on all seven of their offensive drives, with six different players earning a score.
Sophomore Preston Willert led the way with two scores, both rushing. The opening drive saw a 47-yard touchdown run by sophomore Quarterback Colton Pfenninger.
There were two nine plays drives in the first half both finishing with rushing TDs, from seniors Josh Leinenger and Braden Ritchie.
The final drive of the game finished with a three-yard dash into the end zone by backup QB Logan Walters. The Flying G's eclipsed 50 with a two-point conversion by Donald Corlew III.
